What is mobilizing?

In mobile Internet, mobilize means to adapt the content of a portal, blog or Intranet or other services to the specific characteristics of the diverse mobile devices available on the market. Mobilize does no mean designing a pge only for mobiles, but making the content accessible form any mobile device.

Can Andanza mobilize any type of blog?

Andanza can mobilize any type of blog with RSS, atom or opensearch. Today, few blogs do not at least have RSS. So if we cannot mobilize all of them, we can do it with the vast majority of the blogs now on the market.

Is a mobile blog valid for all mobile devices?

By mobilizing with esmeroPlatform, the Andanza mobility solution, your mobile blog will be multi-device. This means it will be accessible from any mobile device, including mobile phones, PDAs an the like, regardless of the channel (WAP, I-mode, Smartphone, etc), the networks (GPRS, UMTS, WIFI) or operators (either national or international).

Can I improve the functionalities of my mobile blog?

If your blog is Wordpress, MovableType or Drupal, we can offer several plugins to increase the functionalities of your mobile blog. By installing them, you can filter entries by categories, month or year, among other things. But there is even more: you will also make the comments on your blog accessible to any mobile devie. In the Download area , we will show you how.

Can I redirect the mobile URL?

Yes. One of the major advantages of Andanza is that you can redirect the mobile URL we assign you to one you have registered or would like to register. You can do this directly in the Control Panel in “My Area”.

Do I have to pay to mobilize my blog?

No. Andanza´s service for mobilizing blogs is not only quick and easy, but it´s also totally free.

For how long will my mobile blog be available?

Your mobile blog, like your URL, will be available for as long as you like. There is no limited trial period. But you should remember to activate your mobile blog when you receive the e-mail during the mobilization proccess.

What should I do if the three-day deadline passes?

If your let three days go by after receiving the e-mail from us with instructions for activation, you have to start the process over again.

What if I want to delete my mobile blog?

If having a mobile blog is not your thing, don´t worry: send us an e-mail and we will delete you as a user of Andanza.

I mobilized my blog but I can´t see the header image. What´s wrong?

When mobilizing your blog, your logo or image will not upload automatically. To do this, in step 2 for personalizing your mobile blog, you have the option of uploading your logo or header. Use it to make the mobile version of your blog as similar as possible to the original blog. And don´t worry about the size of the image! Andanza automatically adapts it to mobile devices.

I mobilized the blog. Can I change it looks?

Of course. Just go into “My Area”, and you can re-personalize your mobilized blog, change the background colors, the font size and so on, just like you did the first time.

How will users know that my blog is mobilized?

In our download area, we have a small logo you can insert in your original blog to show that it is multi-device. Download it now.

How can I get news or share impressions of the service?

We have developed an Andanza Blog to keep you up to date not only with the latest news of the service (new plugins or functionalities) but also general news on mobile Internet. We are also looking forward to reading and answering your comments on the tool.
